Brick proxy

Terms of service

Last updated

Brick proxy (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is an iPhone VPN client that routes your traffic through a proxy you supply. These terms describe what the app is, what it is not, and what each side is responsible for. Using the app means accepting them.

1. No account

There is nothing to register and no login. Nothing of yours is held on our side, so there is nothing for us to suspend and nothing for you to delete. What the app does with your data is described in the privacy policy.

2. You bring the proxy

The app connects to a proxy that you supply. We do not sell, resell, host, operate or recommend proxies. Whether yours works, what it logs and what it does with your traffic is between you and whoever runs it — read their terms, because they carry your traffic and we do not.

You use third-party proxies at your own risk, and we are not responsible for their speed, availability, security or legality.

3. Lawful use is yours

You are responsible for what you send through the tunnel, for the law where you are, and for having the right to use the proxy you entered. Do not use the app to break the law or to interfere with anyone else’s systems.

4. Price and subscriptions

Version 0.1.0 is free and contains no purchases. A subscription for keeping more than one profile is planned. If it arrives, its price and terms will be stated here and shown in the app before anything is charged, and Apple will handle the billing and any refunds.

5. No warranty

The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It can fail to connect, drop a connection, or misread an unusual proxy. Do not rely on it where a failure would be dangerous or expensive.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the app, including traffic that did not go where you expected. Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be removed by agreement.

7. Apple’s licence applies alongside

The app is distributed through the App Store, so Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies together with these terms. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to support the app.

8. Changes to these terms

New terms land with new versions of the app, and this page carries a date. Continued use after a change means accepting the updated terms.
