What to put in the message
- App version and build — the Account screen shows both.
- iPhone model and iOS version.
- Proxy type: SOCKS5 or HTTP. Not the password.
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- The exact text of any error, copied rather than described.
If you paste a proxy string, remove the login and password first. We cannot use them and do not want them.
Questions that come up
UDP doesn’t work through my proxy
An HTTP proxy carries TCP only — UDP does not exist in that protocol. On SOCKS5 it works only if the proxy answers UDP ASSOCIATE, and many proxies refuse. Run a check on the proxy: the card then says whether UDP is supported.
The tunnel says connected, but nothing loads
The phone reached the proxy, or the tunnel would not have come up, so the failure is past that point: wrong credentials, a proxy that allows only certain destination ports, or a proxy that is up but not forwarding. Run a check — if it returns an exit address, the path works and the problem is narrower than it looks.
Why does iOS ask to add a VPN configuration?
A packet tunnel cannot exist without one. The profile is created locally by the app and points at nothing but the proxy you entered.
Can I send only one app through the proxy?
No, and not because it was skipped. iOS hands the tunnel raw IP packets, and a packet does not say which app produced it. The API that does know is only available on devices managed by an organisation. Rules by domain are the route we can take instead.
Does the app see my passwords?
Passwords live on this device only. We never see them. They are stored in the app’s own container and sent to nothing but the proxy you entered. See the privacy policy for the details.
Which country does the check show?
Whatever a public address service reports for your proxy’s exit address. The app does not choose it and does not verify it. The privacy policy names the services that are asked.
Where is the app?
Not on the App Store yet. Version 0.1.0 is being prepared for submission.
iPad, Mac, Android?
iPhone only, iOS 17 or later.
